About This Caster - ET4X2PHN
Set this 4-inch total-lock phenolic swivel on the corners of a low oily-floor cart that has to park dead-still and cannot drift or pivot, where a wheel-only brake would leave the cart free to swing.
The total lock pins the wheel and the swivel together in one pedal, so the loaded cart cannot roll or rotate around a planted wheel once it is set. The wheel is hard resin-bonded phenolic from Pemco: it carries a heavy load on a small footprint and shrugs off oil, grease, and solvent from -45°F to 250°F. The roller bearing carries the weight, the low 4-inch deck stays close to the floor, and the brown phenolic wheel bolts on through a 4 by 4-1/2 inch top plate.

- Total lock pinning a 4-inch phenolic swivel against drift
- Roller bearing under a low parked phenolic wheel
Skip the total lock if you only need to stop the wheel and still pivot the cart; a tread-lock ES4X2PHNTBK brakes the wheel alone.
