About This Caster - ER4X2PHN
Set this 4-inch phenolic rigid on the back corners of a tow cart that runs an oily floor, where the wheel has to hold the line and roll easy in a train without dragging.
The wheel is hard resin-bonded phenolic from Pemco: it carries a heavy load on a small footprint and rolls with low resistance, so it pulls easy behind a tow line where a softer wheel fights the floor. It shrugs off oil, grease, and solvent, and it holds from -45°F to 250°F. The rigid fork keeps the cart tracking straight, the roller bearing carries the weight, and the low 4-inch deck bolts on through a 4 by 4-1/2 inch top plate.
Ideal applications
- Back corners of tow carts on an oily floor
- Rigid fork holding the line in a tow train
- Hard phenolic wheel rolling low-resistance under load
On a delicate floor the hard phenolic tread leaves marks; a poly-on-iron ER4X2MOP rolls non-marking where this wheel does not.
