Thread Guard Casters

A thread guard is a built-in shield over the axle and wheel hub that blocks string, thread, hair, and carpet fibers from wrapping around the axle and bearing. It keeps the wheel rolling freely instead of binding up with wound fiber, which causes drag and eventually seizes the wheel.
