About This Caster - ES4X2PHN
Set this 4-inch phenolic swivel on the steering corners of a tow or transport cart that runs an oily plant floor, where the wheel has to roll easy under load and shrug off the grease underfoot.
The wheel is hard resin-bonded phenolic from Pemco: it carries a heavy load on a small footprint and rolls with low resistance under that load, which is why it pulls easy in a tow line where a softer wheel would drag. It shrugs off the oil, grease, and solvent that swell a rubber or poly tread, and it holds from -45°F cold to 250°F heat. The swivel turns on a roller bearing so the cart steers, the low 4-inch deck keeps it close to the floor, and the 4 by 4-1/2 inch top plate bolts on.
