About This Caster - ES5X2TPDCAMS

Set this 5-inch swivel on the steering corners of a quiet-area cart where a firm cam-action lock is wanted, and the soft taller wheel still has to roll silent over seams.

The wheel is Pemco's Thermo-Rubber donut tread on a polypropylene core: a soft grey thermoplastic rubber that rolls quiet, leaves no marks, and cushions floor seams. A cam-action foot brake on a 5-inch pedal locks the wheel with a firm step, the taller 5-inch wheel steers easier over seams, and the swivel turns on a roller bearing. The 4 by 4-1/2 inch top plate bolts to a flat deck.
