About This Caster - ES5X2TPD
Put this 5-inch swivel under a cart that moves through occupied or finished space, where the priority is a quiet roll that does not clatter down the hall or scuff the floor.
The wheel is Pemco thermoplastic rubber on a polypropylene core, a soft non-marking tread that absorbs floor-seam noise and rolls easy, with no steel in the wheel to rust. The roller bearing carries the load under it. It is the E-line caster for the carts where noise and floor protection beat outright load capacity.
Ideal applications
- Office, school, and clinic carts in occupied space, finished floor
- Light retail and facility trolleys on sealed or tiled floor, multi-shift
- Carts where rolling noise and floor marks get noticed, single-shift
Skip the rubber wheel if the cart carries heavy concentrated loads; thermoplastic rubber flattens under sustained weight, so a TUM polyurethane swivel holds more without setting.
