About This Caster - ER5X2TPDTBK
Set this 5-inch rigid on the back corners of a quiet-area cart that crosses seams and then has to hold, where the soft taller wheel runs silent and the brake locks the corner.
The wheel is Pemco's Thermo-Rubber donut tread on a polypropylene core: a soft grey thermoplastic rubber that rolls quiet, leaves no marks, and cushions floor seams. The tread-lock brake presses on the wheel to hold the cart still, the roller bearing carries the weight, and at 5 inches the wheel rolls easier over seams. The rigid fork keeps it tracking straight on a 4 by 4-1/2 inch top plate.

- Back corners of quiet-area carts parked after crossing seams
- Tread-lock brake holding a 5-inch soft-tread rigid
- Cushioned tread quiet and braked over floor seams
