About This Caster - 170PM08228S0180A
Set this 8-inch Empire 170 swivel on a steering corner of the heaviest economical cart that maneuvers and needs a softer, cushioned ride.
This is the 80A version: a softer 80 Shore A polyurethane tread that absorbs more shock and runs quieter than the firm green PM, gentler on delicate loads while carrying up to 1,500 pounds at this size. The kingpinless welded raceway keeps the swivel smooth, at 8 inches the large wheel clears the biggest obstacles, and the butterscotch round polyurethane is non-marking. It steers on a precision ball bearing, bolts on a 4 by 4-1/2-inch top plate at a 9-1/2-inch mount height, and holds from -40 to 180°F.
