Set this 8-inch Empire 170 swivel on a steering corner of the heaviest economical cart that maneuvers across the worst floors.

The kingpinless welded raceway carries the heavy shock an 8-inch loaded cart drives through a swivel without a central kingpin to fail, and the PM build carries up to 1,500 pounds at this size. At 8 inches the large wheel clears the biggest obstacles while staying maneuverable. The green round polyurethane tread is the standard firm durometer, non-marking and easy-rolling for everyday loads. It steers on a precision ball bearing, bolts on a 4 by 4-1/2-inch top plate at a 9-1/2-inch mount height, and holds from -40 to 180°F.
