About This Caster - ET4X2TPRB
Specify this 4-inch E-line swivel for a towed cart that must park dead square at a precise station, the total-lock TPR caster whose brake freezes the wheel and the swivel together while a precision ball bearing steers cool between stops.
A total lock pins the wheel and the swivel head together, so the cart cannot creep or rotate out of line once it is set, which a cart spotted at an exact station needs, and the precision ball bearing runs cool and true under the pull. The 4 by 4-1/2 top plate bolts to a flat deck, the 4-inch diameter keeps the deck low, and the wider 2-inch Pemco TPR rubber on a polypropylene core stays soft and quiet with no marks.
Ideal applications
- Towed carts spotted dead square at a precise station
- Loads that must not creep or rotate once set
- Cool precision steer on a low total-lock front
Skip the TPR wheel if the cart loads near the top of its range or works near heat over 180°F; a TPU polyurethane or cast iron caster holds the load where soft rubber gives.
