About This Caster - ER4X2TPRB
Set this 4-inch E-line rigid on the back corners of a towed cart that runs straight at speed, the fixed TPR caster whose precision ball bearing keeps the rear rolling cool and true behind front swivels.
A rigid caster tracks straight, so two of these anchor the rear of a towed cart while front swivels steer, and the precision ball bearing runs cool and true under a sustained pull where a plain bore would heat. The 4 by 4-1/2 top plate bolts to a flat deck, the 4-inch diameter keeps the rear low, and the wider 2-inch Pemco TPR rubber on a polypropylene core stays soft and quiet with no marks.
Ideal applications
- Back corners of towed carts that run straight at speed
- Sustained pulls where the rear bore must stay cool
- Bolt-on plate decks in the E-line load class
Skip the TPR wheel if the cart pushes the top of the E-line range or works near heat over 180°F; a TPU polyurethane or cast iron wheel handles it where soft rubber gives.
