About This Caster - ES4X2TPRBTBK
Choose this 4-inch E-line swivel for the front of a towed cart that pauses at a station, the wide-tread TPR caster whose tread lock stops the wheel while a precision ball bearing steers cool when released.
The swivel steers the cart, the tread lock clamps the wheel so the cart holds at a stop, and the precision ball bearing runs cool and true under the pull when the brake is off. The 4 by 4-1/2 top plate bolts to a flat deck, the 4-inch diameter keeps the deck low, and the wider 2-inch Pemco TPR rubber on a polypropylene core stays soft and quiet with no marks.
Ideal applications
- Front of towed carts that pause at a station
- Cool precision steer with a wheel stop at the front
- Low bolt-on decks that need a braked swivel
Skip the TPR wheel if the cart loads near the top of its range or works near heat over 180°F; a TPU polyurethane or cast iron caster holds the load where rubber flattens.
