About This Caster - ER6X2CIR

Set this 6-inch cast iron rigid on the fixed corners of an oven, foundry, or heavy plant cart that has to roll through heat and carry a high load.

The wheel is solid cast iron, which holds up from -40 all the way to 600°F, so it keeps rolling on a bakery rack, a heat-treat cart, or a foundry line where rubber or polyurethane would soften and fail, and it carries a high load for an E-Line caster. Being rigid it tracks straight behind the steering corners. The trade is that cast iron is hard and noisy and will damage a soft floor, so it suits bare concrete. It runs on a roller bearing and bolts on a 4 by 4-1/2-inch top plate.

• Fixed corners of 6-inch oven and foundry carts rolling to 600°F
• Cast iron carrying high load where rubber or poly would fail
• Rigid tracking straight on bare concrete, hard and durable
