About This Caster - ES6X2CIRCAML
Set this 6-inch cast iron swivel on a tall high-heat cart corner that needs a long-lever foot-cam brake to lock the bigger wheel.
The 7-inch cam brake is a longer cam pedal than the 5-inch version, a longer lever so the heavier 6-inch wheel locks with less foot effort. The cast iron wheel holds up from -40 to 600°F for an oven or foundry line and clears thresholds at 6 inches. The trade is a hard, noisy wheel that damages a soft floor, so it suits bare concrete. It runs on a roller bearing and bolts on a 4 by 4-1/2-inch top plate.
Ideal applications
- Tall 6-inch cast iron swivel corners with a 7-inch foot-cam brake
- Long cam pedal locking a 6-inch cast iron wheel to 600°F
- Swivel braked corner clearing thresholds on concrete
For a smaller 5-inch cam pedal on a smaller wheel, the 5-inch ES5X2CIRCAMS needs less mount height.
