About This Caster - 2.02253.445 BRK1
Specify this 2.5-inch Performa rubber swivel with the top lock brake and 3/4 NPT pipe stem for the parking corner of a busy pipe-frame cart, the quiet caster that threads into a pipe leg and locks the wheel where the cart parks.
The pipe-thread stem screws into a 3/4 NPT pipe leg, and the top lock brake presses a pedal onto the wheel so a high-traffic cart holds at a station instead of drifting. The soft Grey Performa rubber tread keeps the cart quiet and non-marking, and the ball bearing carries the busy duty until the brake is set. At 2.5 inches it keeps a low deck. It is the quiet braked corner for a pipe-leg institutional cart.
