About This Caster - 2.02250.445 BRK1
Specify this 2.5-inch Performa rubber swivel with the top lock brake for the parking corner of a quiet tubular cart, the soft-tread caster whose top pedal stops the wheel so a busy cart holds at a station.
The top lock brake presses a pedal onto the wheel to keep a high-traffic cart from drifting at a workstation or a bedside, where a wheel left free rolls away. The soft Grey Performa rubber tread keeps the cart quiet and non-marking, the ball bearing carries the constant duty until the brake is set, and the 1/2-inch modular stem snaps into an open round tube leg. At 2.5 inches it keeps a low deck. It is the quiet braked corner for a tube-leg institutional cart.
