About This Caster - 2.02250.445 COND
Choose this 2.5-inch conductive Performa rubber swivel for the steering corners of a static-safe tubular cart, the caster whose conductive tread drains charge to ground so static cannot build and spark.
The conductive tread is the reason to pick this over the standard Performa swivel: it carries a controlled electrical path that bleeds static off the cart, protecting ESD-sensitive electronics and preventing ignition in a solvent or fuel area. It keeps the soft, quiet, non-marking ride of the standard wheel and rolls smooth on a ball bearing, and the 1/2-inch modular stem snaps into an open round tube leg. At 2.5 inches it stays maneuverable. It is the static-draining steering caster for a tube-leg cart in a sensitive area.
