About This Caster - 170PM06228SFBC
Set this 6-inch Empire 170 swivel with an FBC face brake on an economical cart corner that maneuvers in tight space, then parks and holds.
A face brake presses a shoe against the wheel to stop it, holding a loaded cart on its spot. The FBC brake is the alternate face-brake style with a tighter swivel radius, for a cart that turns in close quarters. The green round polyurethane tread is the standard firm durometer, non-marking and easy-rolling for everyday loads, and the PM build carries up to 1,250 pounds at this size with kingpinless durability. At 6 inches the larger wheel rolls over seams while steering. It runs on a precision ball bearing, bolts on a 4 by 4-1/2-inch top plate at a 7-1/2-inch mount height, and holds from -40 to 180°F.
