About This Caster - 170PM06228S
Set this 6-inch Empire 170 swivel on a steering corner of an economical cart that maneuvers across rough floors.
The PM build is the value version of the Empire 170, with kingpinless durability and no central kingpin to loosen, carrying up to 1,250 pounds at this size. The kingpinless welded raceway keeps the swivel smooth under load, and at 6 inches the larger wheel rolls over seams while staying maneuverable. The green round polyurethane tread is the standard firm durometer, non-marking and easy-rolling for everyday loads. It steers on a precision ball bearing, bolts on a 4 by 4-1/2-inch top plate at a 7-1/2-inch mount height, and holds from -40 to 180°F.
