About This Caster - 170PM06228R
Set this 6-inch Empire 170 rigid on a fixed corner of an economical cart that crosses rough floors on a long run.
The PM build is the value version of the Empire 170, with kingpinless durability and no central kingpin to loosen, carrying up to 1,250 pounds at this size. At 6 inches the larger wheel rolls over seams with the least effort, and the green round polyurethane tread is the standard firm durometer, non-marking and easy-rolling for everyday loads. As a rigid caster it tracks straight on the fixed corners, runs on a precision ball bearing, bolts on a 4 by 4-1/2-inch top plate at a 7-1/2-inch mount height, and holds from -40 to 180°F.
