About This Caster - ES8X2PHNB
Set this 8-inch phenolic swivel on the steering corners of a heavy hand-pushed cart that crosses dock plates, where a precision ball bearing keeps the tall loaded cart steering under hand power.
The wheel is hard resin-bonded phenolic from Pemco: it carries a heavy load on a small footprint and shrugs off oil, grease, and solvent from -45°F to 250°F. The precision ball bearing cuts the starting and rolling effort, so even an 8-inch wheel under load steers with one hand, and the tall wheel bridges dock plates and broken floor. The swivel turns the wheel, and the brown phenolic wheel bolts on through a 4 by 4-1/2 inch top plate.
