About This Caster - ER8X2PHNB
Set this 8-inch phenolic rigid on the back corners of a heavy hand-pushed cart that crosses dock plates, where a precision ball bearing keeps the tall loaded cart moving under hand power.
The wheel is hard resin-bonded phenolic from Pemco: it carries a heavy load on a small footprint and shrugs off oil, grease, and solvent from -45°F to 250°F. The precision ball bearing cuts the starting and rolling effort, so even a tall 8-inch wheel under load moves by hand instead of a shoulder, and the wheel bridges dock plates and broken floor. The rigid fork holds the line, and the brown phenolic wheel bolts on through a 4 by 4-1/2 inch top plate.
