About This Caster - ES5X2TUMTBK
Pick this 5-inch E-line swivel for the braked front of a heavier everyday cart, the TPU polyurethane caster whose firm maroon tread carries the load and whose tread lock holds the wheel at a stop on a plain roller bore.
A rubber wheel sets flat under a heavy parked load; the Pemco TUM polyurethane tread on a polypropylene core holds its shape under the E-line load and stays non-marking, and the tread lock clamps the wheel so a loaded cart holds at the bench. The roller bearing carries the load at a walk for less than a sealed bore, the 5-inch diameter clears a thicker seam, and the 4 by 4-1/2 top plate bolts to a flat deck. USA-made for fast shipping.

Skip the polyurethane wheel if the cart works near heat over 180°F or on oily floors; a phenolic E-line wheel withstands oil and heat to 250°F where TUM softens.
