About This Caster - ER5X2TUMTBK
Set this 5-inch E-line rigid on the braked back corner of an everyday non-marking cart that parks on a grade, the TPU polyurethane caster whose firm maroon tread carries the load and whose tread lock holds the rear against roll-back, all on a plain roller bore.
A rubber wheel sets flat under a heavy parked load; the Pemco TUM polyurethane tread on a polypropylene core holds its shape under the E-line load and stays non-marking, and the tread lock clamps the rear so a loaded cart on a slope cannot roll back. The roller bearing carries the load at a walk for less than a sealed bore, the 5-inch diameter clears a thicker seam, and the 4 by 4-1/2 top plate bolts to a flat deck. USA-made for fast shipping.

Skip the polyurethane wheel if the cart works near heat over 180°F or on oily floors; a phenolic E-line wheel copes with oil and heat to 250°F where TUM softens.
