About This Caster - ES5X2TPR
Pick this 5-inch E-line swivel as the everyday medium-duty front, the wide-tread TPR caster with a plain roller bore and a bolt-on plate that steers and ships fast without paying for a brake or a sealed bearing.
The swivel steers the cart, the roller bearing carries the E-line load at a walk for less than a precision bore, and the 5-inch diameter rolls a longer run and clears a thicker seam than a 4-inch. The 4 by 4-1/2 top plate bolts to a flat deck, and the wider 2-inch Pemco TPR rubber on a polypropylene core stays soft and quiet with no marks on sealed concrete.
Ideal applications
- Everyday medium-duty shop and stockroom carts
- General fronts that need no brake or sealed bearing
- Longer runs where a 5-inch steer clears a thicker seam
Skip the TPR wheel if the cart pushes the top of the E-line range or works near heat over 180°F; a TPU polyurethane or cast iron caster takes the load where rubber flattens.
