About This Caster - ER5X2PODD
Set this 5-inch polypropylene rigid on a mid-deck wash-down cart corner that has to roll wet with no maintenance.
The Delrin acetal bearing needs no grease and cannot rust, so it keeps turning in a wash-down or food bay that would seize a steel bearing, and it runs quiet. The USA-made polypropylene wheel ignores water and cleaners, and at 5 inches it clears a threshold while sitting lower than the 6-inch. Being rigid it tracks straight behind the steering corners and bolts on a 4 by 4-1/2-inch top plate, holding from -45 to 180°F. The hard wheel rides firm with no cushion, the trade for a corner that takes wash-down and skipped maintenance without complaint.

- Maintenance-free Delrin bearing on a 5-inch wheel, no greasing
- All-plastic rigid tracking straight at a mid deck height
