About This Caster - AS50G1POD
Reach for this 5-inch A-Line swivel when the equipment uses a round stem socket and the wheel has to shrug off water and chemicals.
The grip ring stem is a 7/16-inch round shaft with a sprung ring that snaps into a matching socket, so the caster pushes in by hand and holds without a nut, the standard mount on scaffolds, floor machines, and tube-socket carts. The polyolefin wheel is a tough black polypropylene that will not absorb wash-down water, cleaners, or mild acids, and it rides on a Delrin bearing that needs no grease and cannot rust. The A-Line is rated to 350 pounds per caster and runs from -45 to 180°F.
Ideal applications
- Stem-socket scaffolds and floor machines taking a 7/16 grip ring
- Wash-down and chemical areas where a polyolefin wheel won't swell
- Maintenance-free Delrin bearing on a corrosion-prone line
For a non-marking wheel that rolls easier on a finished floor, the TPU grip-ring AS50G1TPU swaps the polyolefin for thermo-urethane.
Pairs with: four grip-ring A-Line casters, or two plain plus two braked AS50G1PODSB for a parked corner.
