About This Caster - AS35P1POD
Put this 3.5-inch swivel under a budget flat-deck wash cart, where a four-bolt plate holds firm, a taller wheel clears wet thresholds, and the POD tread shrugs off the water.
The A-Line POD wheel from Pemco is polyolefin on a polypropylene core, a hard black tread that will not absorb water or rust, so it keeps rolling in wash-down work a metal-core wheel corrodes in, and it stays low on price. The 2-5/8 by 3-3/4 inch top plate bolts four corners to a flat deck, the taller 3.5-inch wheel clears wet door tracks, and the Delrin plain bearing runs maintenance-free. The tread holds to 180°F, and the ride is firmer than urethane.
