Go with this 4-inch Defender D4 swivel when a budget wash-down cart needs to steer and stay corrosion-proof with modest loads.
The swivel head guides the cart through tight, sanitary spaces, with a 3.375-inch swivel radius to allow, and the economical polyolefin wheel resists chemicals and moisture without absorbing water and wipes clean. The Delrin plain bearing runs grease-free and corrosion-proof for sprayed-down rooms, on a stainless steel frame for corrosion. Polyolefin is a value tread that carries less than a poly-on-core wheel and, being hard, can scuff a soft floor. This is the low-cost, low-upkeep steering caster for clean, lighter-duty carts. It serves from -45 to 180°F.
