Pick this 4-inch Defender D4 rigid when a damp, lightly loaded cart should cost little to buy and nothing to maintain.

The Delrin plain bearing is the maintenance-free option: it has no grease to wash out, nothing to seize when sprayed down, and resists the corrosion that moisture and cleaning chemicals cause. It carries an economical polyolefin wheel, a hard plastic that ignores water and chemicals, stays stable when wet, and wipes clean for sanitary areas, all on a stainless steel frame for corrosive service. The rigid mount holds a straight line at the back of the cart. Polyolefin is a value tread, so it carries less than a poly-on-core wheel and, being hard, gives no cushioning and can scuff a soft floor. It works from -45 to 180°F. This is the low-cost, low-upkeep rigid for clean, wet, lighter-duty carts.
