Choose this 5-inch 16 Series swivel where a rubber or poly wheel flat-spots under a parked load and softens in oil, the hard phenolic caster that holds its shape and shrugs off shop fluids to 250°F.
A soft tread sets flat where a loaded cart sits for hours and swells where it meets cutting oil or solvent; the 16 Series phenolic wheel is a hard resin that carries a high load without flattening and tolerates oil and heat to 250°F. The roller bearing carries the medium-heavy load at a walk, and the 5-inch diameter clears a thicker seam than a 4-inch. The 4 by 4-1/2 top plate bolts to a flat deck. USA-made for fast shipping.
