About This Caster - 16EG04201S
Choose this 4-inch polyurethane swivel for a 16 Series cart that carries a real load on a finished floor, where a rubber tread flattens under the weight but the floor cannot take a marking iron or phenolic wheel.
The blue polyurethane tread is firm enough to carry the load without compression-setting, and it rolls non-marking on sealed concrete and finished floor. The roller bearing carries the weight under the swivel, and the 4-inch size keeps the deck low. It is the non-marking medium-duty swivel of the 16 Series, the step up from rubber for load.
Ideal applications
- Loaded carts on finished floors that cannot be marked, sealed concrete
- Medium-duty transport where rubber has been flattening, multi-shift
- Compact rigs needing non-marking load capacity, finished floor
Skip polyurethane if the floor runs hot or oily; phenolic and iron 16 Series wheels handle heat and chemistry where polyurethane softens.
