Use this 5-inch cast iron swivel where a hot cart needs mid-size clearance and has to park and hold, where a kingpin gives out under the bump and a poly wheel will not survive the heat.

The 5-inch diameter clears a higher threshold than a 4-inch wheel and steers easier over seams, and Albion's 110 Contender Kingpinless swivel rides a heat-treated raceway with no kingpin to shear. The grey cast iron wheel carries a hard, heavy load from -100 to 800°F, and the face brake presses on the wheel to stop it rolling once the cart is staged. The roller bearing carries the weight at a slow pace through the turn.
