Choose this 5-inch cast iron rigid for the back corners of a hot cart that needs a touch more ground clearance than a 4-inch wheel and still has to track dead straight under tow.

The extra inch of diameter clears a higher threshold and rolls debris a 4-inch wheel would catch, while the rigid frame holds the line on a towed or pushed run instead of wandering like a swivel. The grey cast iron wheel carries a hard, heavy load from -100 to 800°F, and Albion's 110 Contender brings its heat-treated, kingpinless build to the rigid corners. The roller bearing rolls the weight slowly under load.

Ideal applications

• Towed hot carts needing 5-inch clearance and a straight track
