About This Caster - 110CA04201S
Put this 4-inch cast iron swivel on the steering corner of a hot, heavy cart, where a kingpin works loose under repeated side load and a soft wheel cannot take the heat the route puts through it.
Albion's 110 Contender Kingpinless swivel rides a heat-treated raceway with no kingpin to shear or seize, so the corner keeps steering after the bumps and shocks that destroy a kingpinned caster. The grey cast iron wheel carries a hard, heavy load and holds from -100 to 800°F, which is why it goes under bakery racks, foundry buggies, and oven carts, and the roller bearing turns the load at a slow, heavy pace. This is the plain swivel for corners that roll and steer rather than park.
