A common setup uses two swivel casters at the steering end and two rigid casters at the opposite end, which provides maneuverability while maintaining straight-line tracking. All-swivel configurations are ideal for equipment that needs to move in any direction, such as shelving in tight aisles. Consider adding brakes to at least two casters so equipment stays put when parked.

At three inches, the wheel diameter is large enough to handle typical commercial flooring challenges: expansion joints, small debris, dock plate lips, and transitions between tile and concrete.
