About This Caster - PRE40120ZN-TPR
Set this 4-inch Regent swivel under a flat-framed institutional cart that bolts down through a top plate and has to move quietly on a finished floor.
It mounts through a 2-5/8 by 3-3/4 inch top plate, the standard flat-frame fitting, so it suits a welded or fabricated deck rather than a leg socket. The wheel is a soft grey thermoplastic rubber on a polyolefin core, a 1-inch tread that rolls near-silent and leaves no marks, cushioning floor seams from -40 to 180°F. At 4 inches it clears thresholds an under-cabinet wheel would catch on, which makes it a common choice for food service, electronics, and store carts.
