About This Caster - PNU80SWL
Choose this 8-inch pneumatic swivel for a fragile-load or off-road cart that needs the air cushion in a more compact tire than the 10-inch.
The tire is air-filled rubber on an aluminum hub, so the air cushion soaks up the shock of gravel, grass, and broken pavement that a solid wheel passes into the load, protecting the cargo and the floor. At 8 inches with a 2.8-inch tire it keeps the deck lower and the footprint tighter than the 10-inch, which suits a smaller cart or a narrower aisle. The ball bearing keeps it rolling, and keeping the tire at its rated pressure keeps the cushion working. As the swivel it steers the cart.
