About This Caster - PNU80RGD
Set this 8-inch pneumatic rigid on the back corners of a compact fragile-load or off-road cart that has to track straight under a tow.
A rigid caster does not pivot, so it holds the line behind the steering corners on a pull or rough ground. The tire is air-filled rubber on an aluminum hub, so the air cushion soaks up the shock of gravel, grass, and broken pavement that a solid wheel passes into the load. At 8 inches with a 2.8-inch tire it keeps the deck lower and tighter than the 10-inch, and the ball bearing keeps it rolling. Keep the tire at its rated pressure for the cushion to work.
Ideal applications
- Back corners of compact off-road carts that track straight
- Fragile-load transport cushioned on a lower 8-inch deck
- 8-inch air tire holding the line over rough ground
For the steering corners of the same cart, the swivel PNU80SWL pivots and follows.
