About This Caster - ET5X2PHNB
Set this 5-inch total-lock phenolic swivel on the corners of a hand-pushed medium-duty cart that steers light and then parks dead-still, where a ball bearing eases the steer and the total lock pins it.
The total lock pins the wheel and the swivel together in one pedal, so the loaded cart cannot roll or pivot once it is set. The wheel is hard resin-bonded phenolic from Pemco, shrugging off oil, grease, and solvent from -45°F to 250°F. The precision ball bearing cuts the steer effort so a loaded cart turns with one hand, the taller 5-inch wheel steers easier over seams, and the brown phenolic wheel bolts on through a 4 by 4-1/2 inch top plate.
