About This Caster - ET5X2MOP
Set this 5-inch total-lock swivel on the corners of a medium-duty cart that has to park dead-still on a finished aisle, where any roll or pivot once set is a problem.
The total lock pins the wheel and the swivel together in one pedal, so the loaded cart cannot roll or rotate around a planted wheel. The wheel molds a polyurethane tread onto a cast iron core: the iron carries the load where a plastic core would flex, and the red poly tread keeps the roll non-marking. The 5-inch wheel rolls easier over seams between moves, the roller bearing carries the weight, and Pemco bolts it through a 4 by 4-1/2 inch top plate. The tread holds to 180°F.

- Medium-duty carts parked dead-still on a finished aisle
- Total lock holding a 5-inch swivel against creep
- Red poly tread non-marking between locked moves
Skip the total lock if you only need to stop the wheel and still pivot the cart into place; a tread-lock ES5X2MOPTBK brakes the wheel alone.
