About This Caster - ES5X2TPDD
Set this 5-inch swivel on the steering corners of a wash-down quiet-area cart, where the bearing has to run grease-free and a soft taller wheel steers silent and non-marking.
The wheel is Pemco's Thermo-Rubber donut tread on a polypropylene core: a soft grey thermoplastic rubber that rolls quiet, leaves no marks, and cushions floor seams the load would feel. The Delrin plain bearing runs maintenance-free and corrosion-proof, with no grease to wash out, so it suits wash-down lines, the swivel turns the 5-inch wheel so the cart steers by hand, and the 4 by 4-1/2 inch top plate bolts to a flat deck.
