About This Caster - ER5X2TPDDTBK
Set this 5-inch rigid on the back corners of a wash-down quiet-area cart that rolls grease-free and then has to hold, where a maintenance-free bearing meets the brake under a soft taller wheel.
The wheel is Pemco's Thermo-Rubber donut tread on a polypropylene core: a soft grey thermoplastic rubber that rolls quiet, leaves no marks, and cushions floor seams. The Delrin plain bearing runs maintenance-free with no grease to wash out, the tread-lock brake presses on the wheel to hold the cart still, and at 5 inches the wheel rolls easier over seams. The rigid fork holds the line on a 4 by 4-1/2 inch top plate.
Ideal applications
- Back corners of 5-inch wash-down carts that roll then hold
- Delrin bearing grease-free, tread lock on a 5-inch tread
- Cushioned tread silent, braked, rolling over seams
