About This Caster - ES5X2PHNDTBK
Set this 5-inch phenolic swivel on the steering corners of a wash-down or oven-line cart that has to roll grease-free, steer, and then hold once parked.
The wheel is hard resin-bonded phenolic from Pemco: it carries a heavy load on a small footprint, shrugs off oil and solvent, and holds from -45°F to 250°F for an oven or bakery line. The Delrin plain bearing runs maintenance-free with no grease to wash out, the swivel steers the cart, and the tread-lock brake presses on the wheel to hold it still while staff work. The brown phenolic wheel bolts on through a 4 by 4-1/2 inch top plate.
