About This Caster - ER5X2PHND
Set this 5-inch phenolic rigid on the back corners of a wash-down or clean-line cart where the bearing has to run grease-free, and a taller wheel rolls easier over seams.
The wheel is hard resin-bonded phenolic from Pemco: it carries a heavy load on a small footprint and resists oil, grease, and solvent from -45°F to 250°F. The Delrin plain bearing runs maintenance-free and corrosion-proof, with no grease to wash out or attract grit, so it suits wash-down lines. At 5 inches the wheel rolls easier over seams, the rigid fork holds the line, and the brown phenolic wheel bolts on through a 4 by 4-1/2 inch top plate.
