About This Caster - ES5X2PHNCAMS
Set this 5-inch phenolic swivel on the steering corners of a medium-duty oily-floor cart where a firm cam-action lock is wanted, and the wheel still has to roll easy under load.
The wheel is hard resin-bonded phenolic from Pemco: it carries a heavy load on a small footprint, rolls with low resistance, and shrugs off oil, grease, and solvent from -45°F to 250°F. A cam-action foot brake on a 5-inch pedal locks the wheel with a firm step, the swivel turns on a roller bearing so the cart steers, and the brown phenolic wheel bolts on through a 4 by 4-1/2 inch top plate.
