About This Caster - ES4X2PHNBTBK
Set this 4-inch phenolic swivel on the steering corners of a hand-pushed oily-floor cart that has to steer light and then hold, where a ball bearing keeps the push easy and the brake locks the wheel.
The wheel is hard resin-bonded phenolic from Pemco: it carries a heavy load on a small footprint and shrugs off oil, grease, and solvent from -45°F to 250°F. The precision ball bearing cuts the push effort so a loaded cart steers with one hand, the tread-lock brake presses on the wheel to hold the cart still while the swivel still turns, and the brown phenolic wheel bolts on through a 4 by 4-1/2 inch top plate on a low deck.

- Ball bearing for a light steer, tread lock to hold
- Low 4-inch phenolic wheel braked on an oily floor
