About This Caster - ER6X2TPD
Set this 6-inch rigid on the back corners of a quiet-area cart that crosses rougher floor, where a tall soft wheel rolls over seams and debris and still runs silent and non-marking.
The wheel is Pemco's Thermo-Rubber donut tread on a polypropylene core: a soft grey thermoplastic rubber that rolls quiet, leaves no marks, and cushions floor seams and bumps the load would feel. At 6 inches the wheel rolls over seams and small debris that stop a shorter wheel, the rigid fork holds the cart on a straight line, and the roller bearing carries the weight on a 4 by 4-1/2 inch top plate. The tread holds to 180°F.
