About This Caster - ES6X2TPD
Set this 6-inch swivel on the steering corners of a quiet-area cart that crosses rougher floor and has to steer, where a tall soft wheel rolls over seams and still runs silent and non-marking.
The wheel is Pemco's Thermo-Rubber donut tread on a polypropylene core: a soft grey thermoplastic rubber that rolls quiet, leaves no marks, and cushions floor seams and bumps the load would feel. At 6 inches the wheel rolls over seams and small debris a shorter wheel hangs on, the swivel turns on a roller bearing so a loaded cart steers by hand, and the 4 by 4-1/2 inch top plate bolts to a flat deck. The tread holds to 180°F.
