About This Caster - ER5X2TPDB
Set this 5-inch rigid on the back corners of a hand-pushed quiet-area cart, where a precision ball bearing keeps a loaded cart moving by hand and the soft taller wheel runs silent over seams.
The wheel is Pemco's Thermo-Rubber donut tread on a polypropylene core: a soft grey thermoplastic rubber that rolls quiet, leaves no marks, and cushions floor seams. The precision ball bearing cuts the starting and rolling effort, so a loaded cart moves under hand power even with the higher drag of a soft tread, and at 5 inches the wheel rolls easier over seams. The rigid fork holds the line on a 4 by 4-1/2 inch top plate.
